Come learn about the beauty and importance of native plants in our home landscapes! By planting natives we can support local wildlife, sustain biodiversity, and enjoy the natural beauty of WNC’s vast array of native plants right in our own backyards. In this workshop, we’ll go over why native plants are so important, the vital role that they play in supporting wildlife, the practical advantages of native plantings, and how to choose native plants for your yard that are both beautiful and beneficial.
(Note- we will not be getting too in-depth in this workshop about invasive plant removal).
