Grow your own! Homegrown vegetables taste different because they are different. They are full of vitality and your yard is a local as you can get! Plant a garden and begin eating deliciously.

Reems Creek Nursery has a soft spot for veggies and herbs, and our plant selection is unique. We grow both cool season veggies (like kale, broccoli, and lettuce) and warm season veggies (like tomatoes and peppers). In 2019 we grew over forty different tomato varieties – heirloom, hybrid, paste, cherry, and blight resistant types, plus loads of sweet & hot peppers, and beans, okra, squash, melons, eggplant and more.

Herbs make everything better! Enjoy the luxury of a trip to you garden instead of a trip to the store. A broad selection of culinary herbs is available from spring thru summer. Herbs like sage, thyme, rosemary, lavender, mint, chives, oregano, and fennel are perennial. Basil, dill, and cilantro should be planted every year.

All of our farm-grown veggies are raised sustainably using organic methods. When our homegrown veggie supply runs short, we occasionally bring in conventional vegetables and label them accordingly.
