We are offering multiple sizes of our Prunus laurocerasus ‘Schip’ for pre-sale. Schip Laurel are wonderful broadleaf evergreens that create lush privacy hedges. We are expecting very high demand for these as people rebuild their gardens and they can be difficult to source – order yours today AND earn points!

They have glossy, medium green evergreen foliage with a refined look on a dense, vase-shaped form that has a layered appearance. Bees love the fragrant white spring flowers; birds adore the black drupes. They are best grown in moist, organically rich, well-drained soils in full sun to full shade. Lovely specimen or hedge. They are native to southern Europe. USDA Hardiness Zones 6-9. 12’T x 6’W.

Sizes available for pre-sale:

The larger the pot, the larger the plant, the quicker you will be surrounded by lovely greenery. You will earn special Pre-Sale Perk Points that can be used immediately.

Pre-Sale Perk Points: You will earn points for 10% of your pre-tax sale (example: You spend $500 before tax. You will earn 50 Pre-Sale Perk Points). Each Perk Point is the equivalent to $1. They can be redeemed immediately on any in-store purchase, for up to 50% off a single item per transaction.

The Fine Print

Pre-Sale Disclosure

When participating in our pre-sale program, please note the following:

1. Live Plant Quality:

All live plant pre-sale orders are subject to availability and quality standards upon arrival. While we strive to provide the highest quality plants, unforeseen circumstances such as transportation issues, weather, or crop failures may impact the condition of the plants. If your order arrives in unsatisfactory condition or cannot be fulfilled:

  • You will be offered a full refund of your purchase price.
  • Alternatively, you may opt for store credit, which can be applied to other products in our store.
  • In either case, you will retain your reward points earned from the original purchase.

2. Discount Exclusions:

Pre-sale items are not eligible for any discounts, including:

  • Landscaper discounts.
  • Other promotional or loyalty discounts applied to in-store purchases.

Discounts only apply to in-stock, in-store purchases unless otherwise explicitly stated.

3. Points Redemption and Expiration:

Reward points earned from pre-sale purchases:

  • May not be used on additional pre-sale items.
  • Can be redeemed on in-stock items following the terms outlined in our rewards program.
  • Will expire on July 15th or December 15th, whichever occurs first.

4. Pre-Sale Commitments:

By placing a pre-sale order, you acknowledge that live plant availability is subject to supplier conditions. Some items may not arrive as anticipated due to factors beyond our control (e.g., crop failure, delayed shipments).

5. Order Adjustments:

We reserve the right to adjust or cancel pre-sale orders if necessary due to supplier changes or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, customers will be promptly notified and offered the same refund or credit options.

6. Customer Responsibility:

  • Customers are encouraged to carefully review all pre-sale terms before completing their purchase.
