While we have a large selection of wonderful and unique plants, we also have a MASSIVE butterfly sculpture, a Bee City Asheville Certified Pollinator Garden, a Monarch Waystation, our funky bus painted by RCN staff (perfect for selfies), our Soulful Soil Station, and more!

During the main growing season we carry thousands of plants across multiple departments, with fresh new plants arriving daily. 

We carry a huge selection of fantastic trees and shrubs. Our plant specialists will happily advise you on the best plant choices for your site and creative vision. 

We are passionate about pollinators!

We have a fantastic pollinator garden that we designed and maintain. We source our pollinator plants extremely carefully, ensuring that they are being grown in a safe manner by our growers.

We also go to great lengths to bring in a large selection of plants that are Native to WNC.

Come get selfies at our giant, human-sized Gulf Fritillary butterfly and learn all about them! Reems Creek Nursery is thrilled to be one of multiple stops on the Asheville Butterfly Trail, a very unique local project.

We love edible gardening!

Reems Creek Nursery has a soft spot for fruits, veggies, and herbs. We have an extensive selection filled with tried-and-true productive plants for our area, and also some unique and rare items such as specialty citrus.

We have a special family source who locally grows our veggies! She supplies us with a large variety of excellent cool and warm season veggie starts.

Use our Souful Soil Station and receive complimentary free soil!

We’ve got what you need – choose pretty plants, cute pots, and roll up your sleeves for some planting fun! Perfect for your own home or for creating gifts!

We have an extensive selection of perennial plants. Whatever your habitat, our perennial selection features beautiful plants for both sun and shade in an array of textures and colors, plus a broad selection of native plants and pollinator plants. Our perennial specialists are passionate gardeners who are happy to offer good advice and answer questions.

See our Monarch Waystation!

We are a certified Monarch Waystation through Monarch Watch! We have planted native milkweed all over our property, especially near the back corner of the greenhouse. Some years, we are visited by a large number of Monarch butterflies!

We will happily adopt your monarch caterpillars if your milkweed supply runs low. We adopt caterpillars!

Come Smell the Roses!

The queen of flowers, our enchanting rose selection is carefully chosen for beauty and includes many fragrant and disease resistant varieties. Look for specialty English David Austin roses, Hybrid Tea roses, Grandiflora roses, Floribunda roses, Climbing roses, Shrub roses, Drift roses, and Knock Out roses.

Water creates a soothing mini-habitat that enlivens your garden, invites wildlife, and surrounds us with peace and contemplation.

Water-loving plants such as water lilies with gorgeous blooms, papyrus, iris, and carnivorous plants present a whole new plant palette of unique beauty and texture.

Generally, annuals are fast-growing and long-blooming. Reems Creek Nursery offers a cheerful selection of choices for both sun and shade locations – including potted flowering annuals, bedding plants, flowering hanging baskets, fern & foliage baskets, and mixed container gardens.

Garden Shop!

Our Garden Shop features a curated selection of high quality seeds, flower bulbs, organic gardening supplies, tools, hand-tuned specialty wind chimes, rain chains, gifts, and much more.

Organic gardening!

Organic gardening is kid-friendly, pet-friendly, and plant friendly! We think it is the safest way to garden and offer a full line of organic fertilizers, soil amendments, and organic pest solutions, plus larger bags of soil amendments and organic fertilizers.

Many of our staff members garden organically and will be happy to lend advice when needed.

Reems Creek Nursery is just a stone’s throw away from downtown Weaverville, NC  with restaurants, bakeries & coffee shops, galleries, fly-fishing outfitters, breweries, beekeeping supply stores, salons, and more.

Plan a trip to Reems Creek Nursery’s Garden Center, and then head to lunch and shopping in downtown Weaverville and surrounds. Take Reems Creek Road to Ox Creek Road and drive home via the incredible Blue Ridge Parkway.
