Monarchs are eclosing like crazy! Three in the las Monarchs are eclosing like crazy! Three in the last 24 hours. Did you know that after the butterfly emerges from its chrysalis, it can’t fly right away? It takes a little while for the butterfly’s wings to fill up with “butterfly blood” (fluid from the abdomen) and become strong enough to fly.
