Start a fun Nature Journaling practice using simple techniques for sketching plants, capturing details, and utilizing observation skills.

Learn the basics of nature journaling – with RAD artist Sue Dolamore – in this hands-on workshop suitable for beginning journalers to experienced artists. During this 3 hour workshop, Sue will instruct and demonstrate with plenty of time to practice with assistance from Sue. You’ll practice simple techniques for sketching plants, capturing details, and organizing your observations using words and drawings. We’ll sketch directly with plant material from around the nursery, making it easy to continue the practice at home or in your garden. All skill levels welcome. All Materials included in workshop fee.

Your ticket includes these art supplies to use during the workshop and then take home for future nature journaling:

• Mechanical Pencil
• Sakura Pigma Micron Pen, Permanent Black, .05
• Prang Professional Watercolor Set, 8 colors
• Canson XL Series Watercolor Paper, Wirebound Pad, 7×10 inches, 30 Sheets
